Aluminium Chlorohydrate

Aluminium Chlorohydrate

ORLOV ACH is an inorganic polymer and a highly efficient coagulant, available in a 50% solution with a high level of active aluminum content. It is a clear, viscous solution primarily used for coagulation processes in water treatment. ACH effectively destabilizes colloidal particles and removes phosphates from wastewater, reducing nutrient pollution. It is widely used in the paper and pulp industry as a retention and drainage aid and is the preferred aluminum coagulant in both industrial and municipal water treatment applications.

Principal Use

Used to remove suspended solids, organic matter, and phosphates from water, contributing to cleaner effluent and reduced environmental impact.

Aids in the destabilization of colloidal particles and the removal of phosphates, helping to reduce nutrient pollution.

Functions as a retention and drainage aid, improving the efficiency of papermaking processes.

Advantages

ACH has a negligible effect on the pH of treated water, thanks to its high degree of acid neutralization, providing stable performance across a range of water conditions.

ACH effectively coagulates over a broader pH range compared to traditional metal salt solutions, offering enhanced versatility.

Requires lower dosages compared to other metal salt coagulants due to its high Al2O3 content (25%) and high basicity (83%), resulting in improved color and turbidity removal.

Effectively reduces nutrient pollution by removing phosphates from wastewater.
